Our Story

In 2022, after years of leading revenue teams across a range of tech businesses, our founder, Maria Monks, took the leap to go independent, launching her journey as a Fractional CMO.

Since then, she’s helped over 35 companies overcome one of the most common go-to-market mistakes: prioritising tactics over strategy. Maria’s philosophy is simple, yet often overlooked, understand who you are selling to, and why, and the  tactical plan will follow.

As a Fractional CMO, she started off working closely with the UK deeptech fund IQC and its portfolio companies. It quickly became clear that while these ambitious businesses needed strategic marketing leadership, they also lacked the hands-on support required to execute and deliver on foundational marketing initiatives.

To bridge that gap, Maria began drawing on her trusted network of brand consultants, web agencies, copywriters, and other standout marketers. Before long, what started as a solo consultancy evolved into a fully-fledged marketing services advisory - built to deliver both strategy and execution, end-to-end.
